More than half of my life I operated under the influence of pharmaceuticals. Xanax, Suboxone, Adderall, Valium and Ambien are just a few examples of the long list of drugs prescribed to me over the years. Developing cancer and undergoing chemotherapy was the catalyst to a beautiful awakening journey that would eventually lead to my freedom from all western medicine. I spent over five years breaking free from old habits and allowing my body time to adjust to a new state of being. This was not something that happened over night. In fact, I had quite a few setbacks from navigating this alone, having no experience and doing it all the hard way. Coming off suboxone was by far the hardest fight of them all. I had multiple attempts trying to break free from the chains until I finally got it right and won. No one understood what I was going through, it was such a lonely feeling. However, through my journey it became very clear to me that I was not alone in the suboxone fight. Thousands of people have been affected by this drug feeling alone, ashamed, defeated and in need of help which is why I decided to start this journey of helping others who are truly ready to be free.
